Once sought

Once sought

Seeking thoughts

Grasping air

Reaching nots

Where was I headed

Goal unseen

Didn’t know it

Could unravel the dream

For it is precarious

This thing we are

We never know

Till way too far

Once seen

Death ensues

Medusa’s lair

Her hair

We can’t unsee

But we can forget

Blinding light

Too bright for sight

For we are fragile

But mind is agile

It slips and sneaks

And reassembles

The dream we thrashed

With boldish trembles

One Sot

That Sot was me

I got burnt

Now I see

Still warm

Once ought

To do it.
